Quick answer

Four confirmed playable names, one free claim, two video-reported additions

The official description names KJ, JK, Strongest Hero, and Gojo as playable examples. KJ is the one with a documented free path (the FREEKJ code). Undying Hero appears in September description observations with a newly reported ultimate. Zombie Man, Mayhem Naoya, Jun, Shinji, and Cosmic Garou sit in the official tag block. Energy Master and Whitebeard are creator-video reports from September 14, 2026 — not yet official. Checked 2026-10-03.

Every documented name, with its evidence

A tag is official metadata; a video report is a dated community claim. Neither is upgraded into an unlock claim without a source that documents one.

What a build is here

The build system that is actually documented

Divine Battlegrounds has no equipment, stat allocation, or trait trees in any official source. The buildable surface is skill.

Character + inputs + ultimate timing

A "build" in this game is one character played on the official control table: left-click strings opened, F blocks timed against pressure, Q dashes used to escape rather than engage, Q-while-ragdolled evasive on every knockdown, and G ultimates held for real openings. That is the entire documented build surface — and it matches how the September reports describe change: ultimates added and reworked, per character.

Forms as loadout modifiers

Cosmic Garou (official tag) and Invincible (September title promotion) behave as separate playable appearances with their own movesets in showcase footage — the game's equivalent of a build variant. Both were distributed through promotions and codes (the COSMICFORM code, now reported expired) rather than a documented purchase path, which makes the title-tag watch part of any form collector's build plan.

Undocumented

What this page deliberately does not claim

Recorded once, here — the rest of the page stays positive.

No per-character damage, health, cooldown, or stun values appear anywhere in an official source, and no community wiki exists yet to measure them — so this page prints none, and the tier list grades evidence rather than inventing numbers. Full move lists are likewise unknown; only ultimate-level changes (Undying Hero added, Gojo renewed, a second Zombie Man ultimate reported) have dated video reports. Unlock steps are known only where a code or title promotion documents them (KJ, Invincible, Cosmic Garou). When the developer or a maintained wiki publishes tables, this page adopts them with a fresh checked date.

FAQ

Character and build questions

Which Divine Battlegrounds characters are officially confirmed?

The official Roblox description names KJ, JK, Strongest Hero, and Gojo as playable examples. The tag block also carries Zombie Man, Mayhem Naoya, Jun, Shinji, and Cosmic Garou — official metadata names, though a tag alone does not state how a character unlocks. Checked October 3, 2026.

How do I unlock KJ for free?

Redeem the FREEKJ code in the Twitter-icon box at the top-left of the screen and press REDEEM — Roblox Den documents the code as granting the KJ character (checked October 3, 2026). It is the only character with a documented free-claim path.

What are the best builds or move combos?

No honest build tiering is possible yet: the developer publishes no damage, health, or cooldown numbers, and no community wiki exists to measure them. The strongest documented "build" is the official input set — block (F), dash (Q), evasive (Q while ragdolled), ultimate (G) — practiced to reflex on one character. The squad planner turns that into a per-session plan.

Are Energy Master and Whitebeard playable?

They are reported additions: a September 14, 2026 creator video describes Energy Master (with a September 17 player video showing its moveset) and Whitebeard (described as randomly gifted by the developers). Neither has been named by an official source, so treat both as tryout candidates, not confirmed roster entries.

What is Cosmic Garou?

A name in the official Roblox tag block — Garou's cosmic form from One-Punch Man, matching the game's anime-crossover roster. The community says Cosmic Form; the COSMICFORM code that granted it is reported expired by two trackers. Unlock availability currently rides on title-tag promotions.
